Huston family Easter Picnic
Every year the Huston gang has an awesome Easter egg hunt and picnic for Easter. Since Sam and I were coming the week after Easter, they decided to wait until we could come too! It was so much fun!!!! Above is a pic of all the grandkids (minus the 3 adult ones). Sam was loving it, can't you tell?
Poor Sammy..... :( He had actually gotten hurt and was whiney the rest of the night. :(
Can you see all the kids waiting to come find the eggs?
We let Sam start before the big kids since he was already sad, and he loved it!!!! He seriously couldn't get enough of finding the eggs!
Here come the rest!!!!!!
Cute Gracie
OH kiddo, you melt my heart!
Oh Joe........ :)
Here is the gang!! Thank you so much Papa and Mika for the awesome picnic. We loved spending time with everyone!!!!!!!
The rest of AZ
Here are some more pictures from me and Sam's trip to AZ.......
Sam learned how to use an Iphone this trip and now he is obsessed with them (along with the rest of my fam!)
One morning Sam got into some of my hair product and put it in his hair and kept saying, "handsome? handsome?". Oh Bubba, you are SOOO handsome!!!
Silly boy!!!
I did a lot of hair while I was in AZ. One of my favorites was cutting off Connie's hair into a pixie. She totally rocks it!!!!
Dr. Dahl....
2 days before we got there my cousin/sister Heather (really my cousin, but like a sister) had her sweet, adorable baby girl Charlie. She is seriously adorable and has the cutest lips! Sam loved her and wanted to hold her.
Giving baby Charlie kisses! We all about died!!!
My aunt Paula came from Bakersfield to join in all the fun we were having and brought her dog Bella. Sam loved her crate and kept playing in it.
Sam and Papa reading! We had a great time in Arizona! We really miss living there, so it is so fun when we go visit!

Tay Tay is home!!!
In April, my little brother Taylor came home from his 2 year mission in England so Sam and I went home to Arizona to spend some time with him. It was so fun! Sam and Taylor had not met because Sam was born a month after Taylor left so it was so cute to see them together. My mom made this awesome poster. Isn't it cool?
Here is Sam with his British flag om the way to the airport, excited to meet Uncle Taylor!!!
Sam walking in with Uncle Tanner.
The fam waiting for Taylor!!! I was seriously SO excited!!
My cute grandma! Sam kept trying to push her in the wheel chair. It was hilarious!

Taylor and Sam meeting for the first time!!! Taylor was excited because Sam kept saying , "Tay-der, Tay-der" over and over. I think he was suprised he knew his name and could say it!

Easter
We had a great Easter weekend!!! OH look at that adorable Easter Bunny!!!!!
Our complex had an egg hunt the day before that would have been really cool, but we were 5 minutes late and it was over!!!!!! Lucklily, one of Sam's little friends gave him some eggs and he was happy!!!!!
Mark and Sam checking out the loot!!
Easter morning Sam was super excited about his "Easer Baset" as he would say (and did say about a million times that morning. He is in a repeating everything over and over stage. ha ha).
Checking it out!!!
He found the candy!!!!
On a more serious note, I am grateful for my Savior who died each of us to make it possible for us to return to our Heavenly Father, and to be with our families!!!!
Spring Break Projects
Back in March, Mark had to go to Arizona for some interviews for internships (which didn't work out, but that's a whole other story) and since he still flew for free, he took Sam with him! Sam had a great time, and I got to work on a couple of projects that I had wanted to do for a while. I had always wanted stripes in my kitchen, and was totally over the red, so I decided to paint!!!!!! Above is the before pic.
And here is how it turned out!! I am in love with the stripes!!! It was actually really easy too. It only took about 4 hours to paint the stripes and I didn't even use a level!! Oh and that awesome mirror is from the Salvation Army! I about died when I saw it!!!!!
This picture shows my chalkboard wall too! I love my kitchen!!! (except the countertops).
That week I also made this artwork. I just got 3 canvases and mod poged old book pages on to them. Then I drew the tree and bird, then colored it in with sharpie marker! It was really easy!! I think I am actually learning that I can draw. I really hope to take a n art class someday to learn more about drawing/painting/ etc.
This is the view from my couch. I LOVE it!! Along with Mother Gothel......... I need to post pics of more of my house too, but it's never clean enough to want everyone to see! Ha ha. Someday.......
