Awesome houses
Before we moved to Omaha, Mark and I would like to drive around on Sundays in different neighborhoods looking at houses. We loved to dream about what kind of house would be our dream house. So last Thursday after we took Sam to that awesome park with the huge slides, we drove around so I could take pictures of some of Omaha's really cool houses. SO here are some. I apologize though, I took them as we drove.
This white one is one of my favorites!
I think this one is an apartment building, but still cool.
More apartments
The rest of these are in a historic district that we found. Debbie, you would LOVE these!!!
This one is obviously burned! SAD!!!
Sorry my picture taking skills aren't better. Just thought I would share!!!!
More pics of Sam from the last week or so
Sam seriously loves stuffed animals! HE hugs his all the time.
He Loves our stairs and even fell down them face first last week. He loves to peek around the corner from them and say, "hi!".
He is obbsessed with his bottle and carries it everywhere. It's going to be a hard few days whenever I decide to take it away!
Last week I was trying to take some pictures of Sam to send to my SIL Allie, and the little stinker is just like his dad and doesn't like getting his picture taken.
This is the best I could get!!! Stinker!!!!
On Saturday Mark was shaving before we went to a baptism, and then he set it down. Bad idea!!! Sam picked it up and figured out how to turn it on! It was hilarious!!! Mark also got video of it and he almost stuck his tongue in it!!!! We were afraid he was going to buzz his head because he kept putting it up to his ear like a phone!
Then that night Mark and I got to go to the movies to see Planet of the Apes, and we came home to this guy! There was a little frog on our mailbox!!!
Leahy park
Last Thursday we didn't have a car, (which we don't have every other day), so I was DYING to get out of the house! As you can see above, Sam manages to keep himself occupied, especially by my cell phone! So when Mark got home, we decided to go to Leahy park downtown. I remember going there when I was on my mission and had wanted to go there with Sam since we got here. He loved it!!!
These slides are so fun!!!! Next time we need to take wax paper to sit on and they would go a ton faster!
Downtown Omaha.....which is about 1 1/2 miles from our house.
This is the coolest old building across the street
Sam loved the geese
He was also afraid of them
Oh and here is the bum asleep under the bridge
Sam saying bye bye to the geese
Playing peek-a-boo on the way home!!
My little Houdini who can get out of the top of his carseat, no matter how tight I make it!!!
