Mark and I with Sis. Iverson. Mark and his companion would stay with her and her husband before they got an apartment.

Us with Alejandra and her kids...Mark taught them and she makes the BEST flautas!

Us with Bro. Winder (who we stayed with) and the Cavazo's. Mark taught this fam too and they are getting ready to get their Patriarchal blessings!

Dinner at Gustavo and Ernestina's house. They are one of the couples who got sealed!!! The other couple on the right, Marco and Aide are the other couple who got sealed. Along with all their kids too!

Last weekend, Mark and I had the opportunity to go to Washington to be there when 2 families he taught on his mission were sealed in the Columbia River temple. We had a great time!!!!! It was really neat to be there for that experience. I told Mark he was very lucky to see that because most missionaries don't get that experience! Both the families are amazing and it is so cool to see how much they have embraced the gospel!!!!!

Mark's new plan!

I am very happy to tell everyone this!!!! About 2 months ago, my cute husband decided he wanted to go to Law School! After lots of praying and researching, talking to lawyers, his advisor, etc. he is going to do it!!!! He has it all figured out how he can gratuate with his Social work degree in May 2011 and hopefully start Law school that fall. It will be a lot of work taking LSAT prep classes, taking the LSAT, going to school more than full time, etc, but I have no doubt that Mark will get accepted. We are not sure where we will go yet for school, but we are excited!!!! It just all seems right and Mark seems more excited now. I am so sure Mark will be a great lawyer and will do great in Law school. So far College has not really been hard for him at all. Without hardly trying he gets all A's. (sickning, I know). SO it will be great for him to go to law school!!! I am so excited and so proud of Mark!!

Disneyland!!!!!

Our nephew Bryant got picked to be trained as a Jedi knight! Here he is fighting Darth Vader. He was so cute doing all the moves!!!

Me and Mark on Autopia. One of the few rides I went on.
For Christmas, Mark's parents took the family to Disneyland!!!! IT was so much fun. I couldn't go on most of the rides, but we still had a great time. By the end of the day I was so exhausted, but it was so worth it!!!!! These are all the pics I took......unfortunately.

Miles' Birthday Celebration 12/2/09

Miles' headstone.........upside down :)

Our cute nephew Matthew who is 2 months older than Miles

Me and my sweet hubby.

Miles' headstone again...

Again...these are backwards....it's just been too long since I blogged. ha ha. So on Miles' life day, we met our family at the cemetery and released ballons in his honor. The kids absolutely loved it! We also sang happy birthday to him and it took a lot for me to not lose it. It had been a hard day for me, but having our family there to support us and acknowledge our sweet baby boy made me feel so much better. After the cemetery we went to dinner at the same place we had gone right after Miles was buried the year before. The whole night was the perfect way for us to remember him!

Randon Pics from last year

My Daddy-o Sammy-J turned the big 5-0 on November 5, 2009. Here he is at his big b-day bash with my uncle John. John told funny stories about him. It was a fun party, but I was newly preggo so I was pretty sick.
For Halloween, my friend Brittney and I threw a Halloween party for the young couples in our ward. It turned out really good, but we ended up moving the same week and it was right when I was starting to feel sick. I had fun dressing up with Mark. He was hilarious in this costume, it's like being in tights made him a totally outgoing goofball! It was a lot of fun!!!
I may have already posted about this but if not.........for Mark's spanish class for an assignment they learned about Day of the Dead. For the assignment he had to make an alter for a person who has passed away and it was displayed at one of the museums at ASU. So of course he did it about Miles. It turned out really good and he got a good grade on it too!!!!
These pictures are backwards........But I wanted to post pictures of a couple things I didn't post about.

Hello World!!!!!!

Well I finally decided it is probably time to update our blog. I have been such a slacker when it comes to this........okay most things. ha ha. I am learning that pregnancy is exhausting and I just don't feel like doing a lot of things. Unfortunately that means our house is pretty much a mess all the time. Luckily, I have a wonderful hubby that never complains and treats me like a queen!!! Anyway, I have a lot to put on here but it might take a few days. I just wanted to let you know.......it's coming!!!!! Including a full pregnancy update. :)
